Irish Scottish Folk Punk Celtic Rock

Since its inception in 2012 Keltikon from Switzerland has evolved very quickly into a very active live band on the Swiss music circuit at pubs, festivals and music clubs.

The band plays a variety of Celtic Rock styles from own songs to traditional Irish/Scottish jigs & reels, from haunting ballads to heavy rock or folk-punk, with subtle influences of Ska, Gipsy-Swing or even Grunge and, of course, famous Irish or Scottish songs.

A screaming electric guitar is cutting across a virtuosic fiddle, to the thumping rhythm of bass and drums, supporting a female and a male voice. As versatile as the tunes are the Keltikon's lyrics, dealing with atomic submarines, submigration or Silvio Berlusconi and Donald Trump, for example.

In February 2014 the first CD album “Agenbite of Inwit” was released. In the meantime a lot of celtic, rock and punk radios around the globe are playing Keltikon and some their own songs stayed in the top ten of listener-charts or even became number 1 for weeks.

As versatile as the tunes are the Keltikon's lyrics, dealing with atomic submarines, submigration or Silvio Berlusconi and Donald Trump, for example.
